CATCH HIM DERRY
There is a good chance they will go hard here and that could suit hold-up performer CATCH HIM DERRY. He impressed bouncing back to his best winning at Exeter and then was a good third at Cheltenham given too much to do. He is better off at the weights with Jeriko Du Reponet and could reverse that form here and come out on top. Act Of Authority will be suited by this extra distance and is another one to note.

IMPERIAL SAINT
With both Myretown and Doctor Ken now out this could be a good chance for IMPERIAL SAINT to get back on the up. We know he likes this track and he looked progressive initial over fences. I wouldn’t judge him too harshly on that Kempton run behind Rubaud and he could get back on the up here. Cruz Control is another one who likes it here and despite pulling up at Wetherby could bounce back with a big run.

KITZBUHEL
Both the ground and quick turnaround are against Teahupoo so KITZBUHEL looks the one to side with. Willie Mullins has never won this race but this unexposed 5yo could improve bundles for the step up in trip and I’m expecting a big performance. Strong Leader is suited by this track and is definitely one of the dangers. Home By The Lee unseated at Cheltenham but could bounce back and get competitive in this.

STUMPTOWN
That was a career best from STUMPTOWN to win the Cross Country at Cheltenham last month and he arrives here eyeing up a five-timer now. I liked the way he went through the race last time and if he gets jumping and takes to this track he will be a danger to all under Keith Donoghue who has been getting a good tune out of him. Stablemate Vanillier was runner-up in this two years ago and could be the danger after catching the eye behind the selection last time.
