Today’s Lucky 15 Tips

Here are our lucky 15 tips for the 4th day of the Royal Ascot Festival:

Our four predictions consists of 15 bets in a win lucky 15 bet. The Lucky 15 payout is around 4000/1.

GYTO Notebook Double

Royal Ascot 3.45 Opera Singer (best price 7/4)

The likeable OPERA SINGER looked progressive as a 2yo winning three of her last four starts and I thought she made a really pleasing reappearance when third at the Curragh last month.

She clearly needed the run but stuck to the task well once headed and I think she’ll come on tons from that. Aidan O’Brien said much of the same in an interview after the race and confidence seems to be growing regarding her chances here.

It will be interesting to see if they go forward with her as there isn’t much pace on and it has paid to be on the speed at Ascot this week. Elmalka looks promising and has won two of her three starts to date so if improving again could be the danger.

Newmarket 7.45 Rhetorical (best price 11/4)

That was an impressive start from RHETORICAL winning so easily on debut.

He looked a bit clueless in the early stages but once the penny dropped and he was angled out he came home strongly and actually won going away at the line. He will know a lot more with that experience under his belt and I think he can make it 2-2 against these.

Specialisation looked good opening his account at Wolverhampton when last seen and he is the most obvious danger given he clocked quite a good speed figure in the process.

More Thunder left his debut run behind to win at Nottingham and if finding further improvement is another one that could get competitive in this.

This notebook double pays 10/1!

Value Tip

Royal Ascot 3.05 Elite Status (best price 4/1)

Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum looks to hold the key to this race as he owns the top 2 in the betting in Inisherin and ELITE STATUS. The latter is a bigger price though and looks better value for Karl Burke.

He was back to his best winning convincingly at Newbury on return last month and with the promise of further improvement to come I can’t see why he is twice the price.

The third Adaay In Devon has come out and franked the form winning at Sandown and even James’s Delight who was well down the field in 11th has won easily at York since.

Inisherin ran respectfully in the Guineas but relished the drop back to sprinting winning impressively at Haydock so does look the danger. Of the rest Jasour came fast and late to peg back Adaay In Devon at Ascot so is another one in with a squeak.
