2024 Presidential Election Odds: 69% of Bettors Backing Donald Trump to Win
Although Donald Trump is a convicted felon, he can still run for president. That said, most people still like Trump's chances of becoming the next president of the United States.
Trump was ultimately convicted of all 34 felony charges of falsifying business records. But despite all of that, as long as the presidential candidate is a natural-born citizen, is 35 years old, and has been a resident for 14 years, the candidate can run for president.
At this point, it's unlikely Trump will actually go to prison as a first-time offender. Therefore, since his odds have dropped slightly, the public is back on Trump to become president this week.

The conviction won't end Donald Trump. Ultimately, when he needs to get through an obstacle, he finds a way.
Other bettors agree. He's earned 69.07% of bets over the last seven days to become the president of the United States.
However, it should be noted that after being convicted of 34 felonies, he can't personally carry a gun, hold public office, or even vote in many states.
ABC News polled whether Trump supporters would withdraw support for Trump if convicted. Only 4% of those supporters said they actually would withdraw their support. Meanwhile, 16% said they'd reconsider their decision to back Trump but didn't rule out supporting Trump in the future.
Joe Biden (30.93%)
The Wall Street Journal recently reported on Joe Biden slipping. The White House wasn't happy with the report and fired back at the Wall Street Journal over that Biden story.
Ultimately, the media has portrayed Biden as such and it's one reason why he's currently not getting nearly as many votes as Trump.
Meanwhile, the White House said Biden is sharp and that his critics are playing partisan politics.
It's going to be a wild ride up to Election Day. For now, Trump has the lead. Biden must prove to the world that he can lead the country despite being 81 years old.
