US Election Odds: Final Look at the US Presidential Odds Before Tonight's Election Results

US Election Day is here, and we are going to take a look at the latest US Presidential Odds as we determine the favorite as polls around the country begin to close.

Donald Trump has long been in the Driver's Seat, and since the start of October, sportsbooks around the world have made him the odds-on favorite.

Following an Iowa Poll from Selzer this past weekend, which labeled Kamala Harris as the projected winner in The Hawkeye State, the odds drifted slightly on Trump and in Harris' favor. This was only an incremental change though, and overall the picture remains the same.

Let's look at the current odds for each candidate to see who is the most likely to be elected as the new president this time next week.

Latest Donald Trump and Kamala Harris Odds on Election Day

Below, we have provided the most up-to-date odds for the US Election, as we head into the business end of this 2024 US Presidential Election Race.

These odds were correct as of 1 pm EST on 11/5/24

CandidateElection Winner Odds
Donald Trump-150
Kamala Harris+150

Donald Trump is now priced at -150 which means there is a 60% chance of him becoming the next US President, according to the sportsbooks in the US. This is down from the 63.6% implied probability from this time last week. This is not a shift that suggests Trump is suddenly going to lose the US Election, but it does some support for Kamala Harris.

At +150, Harris has shortened in the betting, as she was +184 this time last week. This shows that support is growing for her to win in the betting markets, despite odds on Trump winning both Arizona and Pennsylvania. There is now currently a 40% chance of Harris becoming the first female President, an increase from 35.4% last week.

As we get into the final hours of the US Election and polls start to close, Donald Trump is still the frontrunner, but these odds can change so quickly, so make sure to stay up to date on the latest odds via oddschecker.

When Will Results Start Coming in for the US Election?

The first polls of the evening will close at 6 pm EST and the last at 1:00 am EST, so results will start filtering in throughout the evening.

In the past, the incoming President has been announced in the early hours of Wednesday morning, but it can often take days, so an official announcement and declaration from media outlets might take a while yet. You should however have a good idea on Wednesday morning.

Can You Bet on the 2024 Presidential Election in the United States?

Some users can now bet on the Kalshi platform, ahead of the 2024 US Election announcement, but there is no legal way to bet on traditional sportsbooks, such as DraftKings or FanDuel.
