Oddsmakers have made Scottie Scheffler the outright betting favorite in all six events he's played in 2025. While the World No. 1 golfer has yet to record an outright win this season, he's once again the betting favorite at the Masters, with his longest odds available at +450 on most sportsbooks.
Scheffler was one stroke away from forcing a playoff at the Texas Children's Houston Open during his runner-up finish at Memorial Park a couple of weeks ago. He's playing well tee-to-green and should be able to pick up right where he left off at Augusta National.
He's won two green jackets in the past three years, while never sliding outside the top 20 in any of his five appearances at the Masters. Scheffler has three consecutive T10 finishes since breaking through with his first win in 2022.

I wouldn't recommend betting more than one unit on Scheffler to win his third green jacket. It's a course he plays consistently well at, but this field is loaded with talent, and we haven't seen Scheffler figure out his putting struggles yet.
The Bentgrass greens feature plenty of undulations, or hills and slopes, that run north of 13 miles per hour via Stimpmeter. This is one of the most difficult courses to figure out putting, so Scheffler may not find his way to the top of the leaderboard if his flat stick struggles continue.
There are a couple of ways to bet on Scheffler at a decent price without requiring a stake on his short outright odds at +450. Let's look at a few different betting markets.
Scottie Scheffler Top-5 Finish (-115) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
First, let's attack his Top Finish market and bet a unit on Scheffler to record a Top 5 Finish at -115 odds. He's done this both times that he's won, while carding T19-T18-T10 in the other three appearances. I expect another strong outing at Augusta National, but if he falls short with his third top-five of the season, I want to have action on this outcome.
Scottie Scheffler To Finish Top-10 in Round 1 (+140) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Next, let's roll with Scheffler to record a Top 10 finish by the End of Round 1 at +140 odds. We've seen Scheffler go 69-68-66 in each of the first rounds he's played since 2022. At a difficult course like Augusta National, any of these scores almost assuredly lands him in the top 10 by the end of Round 1 on Thursday.
Scottie Scheffler to Finish Above Rory McIlroy + Jon Rahm (+115) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds
Finally, we'll grab one more plus-odds wager on Scheffler in the Tournament Trios betting market on DraftKings Sportsbook. He's +115 to finish with a 72-hole score lower than Rory McIlroy and 2023 Masters winner, Jon Rahm.
Rahm is always a threat but can be volatile and inconsistent with his putting at times. Meanwhile, McIlroy's inability to win at Augusta National could result in a case of the yips as the tournament concludes. McIlroy has two wins in five events played on the PGA Tour this season, so he's in good form, but I like Scheffler's tee-to-green game a bit more.
It's hard to find plus-odds markets on Scheffler at the Masters. However, this could be a solid way to turn a unit into profit at +115 odds.
