Newcastle continue their push for the Champions League places when they face 12th placed Crystal Palace this evening.

Newcastle vs Crystal Palace Prediction

  • Newcastle made it five straight wins across all competitions after a fine second-half showing saw them run out 4-1 winners over Manchester United at St James' Park on Sunday.
  • Eddie Howe's side have moved into fourth place following that victory and could move up to third here with three points in what is their game in hand on the sides around them.
  • Though they went two goals up, Crystal Palace's seven-match unbeaten run came to an end against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
  • Oliver Glasner's side head into this clash in 12th place, level on points with Brentford in 11th.
  • When these sides met back in November, Daniel Munoz salvaged a point for the hosts in the 94th minute. This time around, Newcastle should see out the victory.

Score Prediction: Newcastle 2-1 Crystal Palace

Newcastle vs Crystal Palace Bet Builder Tips

Our Bet Builder Tips for Newcastle vs Crystal Palace features Newcastle to Win, Eze 3+ Shots & Hughes to be Carded.

At the time of publishing it is a best price of 12/1 with Unibet.

  • Newcastle are in excellent form, winning their last five matches across all competitions, including a 4-1 victory over Manchester United. They’re fourth in the Premier League and have a strong home record, winning five of their last eight league games at St. James’ Park. Crystal Palace, despite a solid away defense, suffered a 5-2 defeat to Manchester City recently and have only won two of their last 15 visits to Newcastle.
  • Eze has been Palace’s standout attacker, taking more shots (89) than any Newcastle or Palace player this season, averaging 3.68 shots per 90 minutes. He’s scored in three of his last five outings and scored against Manchester City. Facing Newcastle’s depleted defense (missing Sven Botman, Jamaal Lascelles, and Lewis Hall), Eze is likely to test the keeper multiple times, especially cutting in from the left.
  • Palace midfielder Will Hughes has picked up 10 yellow cards in the Premier League this season, averaging 2.82 fouls per 90 minutes. He faces a tough matchup against Bruno Guimarães, the most fouled player in the league (3.80 fouls drawn per 90), which increases the likelihood of Hughes committing a bookable offense.
