Premier League Darts Week 5

Luke Humphries strengthened his lead at the top of the table by securing his second weekly win in Exeter last Thursday, defeating Luke Littler 6-4 in the final.

That latest triumph means the world number one now holds a seven-point lead over Littler heading into this week’s latest round of action on the south coast.

With Humphries and Littler on opposite sides of the draw again this week, could a repeat of last week’s final be on the cards?

Week 5 Premier League Darts Predictions

Separated by just one place and one point in the table, Thursday night’s curtain-raiser between Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen could go the distance.

Fresh from winning the UK Open on Sunday night, Luke Littler should come out on top in his opener with Chris Dobey.

Luke Humphries defeated Rob Cross on his way to another weekly win last Thursday and he has to be fancied to repeat the trick in Brighton.

Stephen Bunting can finally get off the mark with a first win in this year's Premier League at the fifth attempt when he takes on Nathan Aspinall.

Premier League Darts Tips

Gerwyn Price vs Michael van Gerwen - Over 9.5 Legs - 10/11 (William Hill)

Given that each of Gerwyn Price’s four quarter-final ties in this year’s Premier League have featured over 9.5 legs, the 10/11 on William Hill about a repeat this week looks terrific value. What’s more, three of Michael van Gerwen’s four openers have also produced 10 legs or more.

Luke Littler Week 5 Most 180s -  1/1 (Bet 365)

Having hit a combined total of 20 maximums across his three matches in Exeter last Thursday night, Luke Littler stands out to hit the most 180s this week at evens on Bet 365. The teenage trailblazer will arrive in Brighton riding the crest of a wave after adding the UK Open to his ever-growing trophy collection last weekend.
