Tennessee Titans vs Baltimore Ravens prediction, tips, team news and Bet Builder for the final NFL London 2023 game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
14:30 Sunday
The 3-2 Baltimore Ravens will face off against the 2-3 Tennessee Titans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend and both will be eager to get back to winning ways after falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts respectively in Week 5.
The Ravens have done well to weather a storm of injuries early in the year and already boast victories over divisional rivals Cleveland and Cincinnati.
While the Titans, who displayed their customary grit when defeating the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 2, also own a victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, holding the Joe Burrow led offence to just three points in Week 4.
NFL London Tips - Baltimore Ravens vs Tennessee Titans
Baltimore suffered a 44-7 loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars on their only previous trip to London in 2017 and decided to travel over much earlier on this occasion in order to be better prepared.
Tennessee will also be looking to secure their first win on these shores after succumbing to the Los Angeles Chargers by a narrow margin of 20-19 on their inaugural visit in 2020.
The two teams have met 26 times previously, with the overall record locked at 13-13.
Ravens vs Titans Prediction
The Ravens front office decided to surround Lamar Jackson with talented pass catchers this year, adding Odell Beckham Jr in free agency and Zay Flowers in the first round of the NFL Draft to a group that already included tight end Mark Andrews and former first round selection Rashod Bateman.
However, it was arguably the pass catchers who cost Baltimore victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend as a number of drops ultimately led to the offence putting up just 10 points.
It would be very unfortunate were lightening to strike twice and this could easily prove to be a bounce back game for an offence that put up 27 points against the Cincinnati Bengals and 28 points against the Cleveland Browns.
The Ravens could easily take advantage of a banged up Titans defence and star linebacker Roquan Smith will be tasked with snuffing out the Titans threat on the ground.
Baltimore have won two of their three games on the road this year. However, both of Tennessee’s victories have been achieved in Nashville and, although they are technically the home side this weekend, this is clearly anything but a home game for the Titans.
I would therefore favour the Ravens and feel they can cover the point spread.
Ravens vs Titans Tips
Zay Flowers - Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Zay Flowers has already amassed 317 receiving yards on 29 catches this year, but is yet to find his way into the endzone.
The rookie wide receiver is already a significant part of Baltimore’s offence and he is blessed with both speed and suddenness, making him a threat both in the air and on the ground.
The Ravens will therefore be designing creative plays in order to get the ball into his hands in the red zone.
Kyle Hamilton - Player Defensive Interception Over 0.5
Kyle Hamilton has taken a step forward in his second year and snagged his first NFL interception in the Ravens 28-3 victory over the Cleveland Browns in Week 4.
While the Titans are expected to make good use of Derrick Henry on the ground, Ryan Tannehill has a new weapon in the form of DeAndre Hopkins and he will be looking to the four-time All-Pro when in need of chunk plays.
That should present the former Notre Dame safety with opportunities to make a play on the ball.
Tyjae Spears - Player Receptions Over 2.5
Rookie running back Tyjae Spears has seen his workload increase on a weekly basis and the third round draft pick scored his maiden NFL touchdown in last weekend’s defeat to the Indianapolis Colts.
Spears’ pass catching ability has undoubtedly aided his growth within the Titans offence and it’s something that Tennessee are likely to call upon once again this weekend.
Ryan Tannehill has targeted Spears four of more times in four of the Titans five games this year, including the last three. And Spears has caught 13 of his last 15 targets for 62 yards.
Therefore a prop of over 2.5 receptions looks favourable.
Ravens vs Titans Team News
The Tennessee Titans listed defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons (shoulder), linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (neck), defensive lineman Denico Autry (finger) and safety Amani Hooker (thumb) as limited participants at practice on Thursday.
Defensive lineman Teair Tart (toe) did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday.
While wide receiver Treylon Burks (knee), linebacker Luke Gifford (hamstring) and defensive back Elijah Molden have all been ruled out.
Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr (ankle), pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney, cornerback Marlon Humphrey, tackles Patrick Mekari (illness/chest) and Morgan Moses (shoulder) and rookie running back Keaton Mitchell (shoulder) were all listed as full participants at Baltimore Ravens practice on Thursday.
Pass rusher Odafe Oweh (ankle) did not practice.
Safety Geno Stone was officially listed as limited.
Ravens vs Titans Bet Builder Tips
- Lamar Jackson - Anytime Touchdown Scorer
- Zay Flowers - Over 57.5 Rushing And Receiving Yards
- Roquan Smith - Over 10.5 Tackles And Assists
- Baltimore Ravens - Money Line
At the time of writing, the above Bet Builder can be backed at 10/1 on Bet365
Lamar Jackson already boasts four rushing touchdowns this season and he should find plenty of opportunities as the Titans defence will have to respect his plethora of pass catchers.
Zay Flowers has made an immediate impact in Baltimore and has recorded 78, 62, 48, 56 and 73 receiving yards from Weeks 1-4 respectively, making a prop of 57.5 rushing and receiving yards look attractive.
Roquan Smith is undoubtedly one of the NFL’s premier linebackers and he has already amassed 54 tackles through the first four weeks.
Smith has already posted more than 10.5 tackles three times this season and he could easily do so once again, especially given how Tennessee like to run the ball.
If all of the previous three legs are successful it should put the Baltimore Ravens in a good position to win the game. I would therefore suggest backing them to do so.
