14:30 Sunday

This game is arguably the most eagerly anticipated matchup in London this year as two AFC contenders - both of whom reached the Divisional Round last season - will clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Buffalo Bills (3-1) haven’t put a foot wrong since their opening day defeat to the New York Jets and they arrive hot on the heels of a dominant success over the Miami Dolphins in Week 4.

The Jacksonville Jaguars (2-2) will play in London for a second successive week after defeating the Atlanta Falcons at Wembley Stadium last Sunday.

Josh Allen and Trevor Lawrence are among the most exciting quarterbacks in the NFL at present and this could easily be a high scoring affair with offensive talent such as Steffon Diggs, Gabe Davis, James Cook, Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk and Travis Etienne set to grace the field.

The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Buffalo Bills by a scoreline of 34-31 when they met at Wembley Stadium in 2015 and have also triumphed in two of their four subsequent encounters, including their most recent meeting in 2021.

Buffalo and Jacksonville have met 18 times previously and have split those game’s equally (9-9).

Bills vs Jaguars Prediction

The Jacksonville Jaguars got their season back on track at Wembley last weekend and Doug Pederson’s men will look to take advantage of the additional time they have had to acclimatise to London and prepare for this game.

Those factors should not be readily overlooked given the fine margins that often decide NFL games. However, they will face Buffalo Bills team that is brimming with confidence following three dominant displays and Jacksonville may struggle to keep pace with the Bills offence, who have scored 123 points since Week 2.

The Bills offensive prowess isn’t the only secret to their success, as their defence has recorded the most sacks through four weeks and held the Las Vegas Raiders, the Washington Commanders and the Miami Dolphins to a combined 33 points.

It’s fair to say that Buffalo are firing on all cylinders on both sides of the ball and that looks set to continue against a stuttering Jacksonville Jaguars team who have only managed a combined 49 points in the last three weeks, while allowing the Houston Texans and rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud to rack up 37 points in Week 3.

I would therefore fancy the Bills to come out on top and to cover the spread.

Bills vs Jaguars Tips

Gabriel Davis - First Touchdown Scorer

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis scored the opening touchdown in both Week 3 and Week 4 and he looks overpriced to do so once again.

The fourth year pass catcher provides Josh Allen with a productive deep threat and he will be looking to find the endzone for the fourth consecutive week.

Davis undoubtedly benefits from the attention that Steffon Diggs commands and Josh Allen clearly possesses the arm talent to take advantage of blown coverages.

Gabriel Davis - Player Longest Reception Milestones (30 Yards)

This wager makes sense for many of the reasons outlined above and it’s worth noting that Gabriel Davis recorded a reception of 40 yards in Week 2, 35 yards in Week 3 and 34 yards in Week 4.

Josh Allen will be looking his way when a chunk play is needed.

Andre Cisco - 0ver 0.5 Interceptions

Andre Cisco has already picked off passes from Patrick Mahomes and Desmond Ridder this year and Jacksonville’s ball-hawking safety will be ready to pounce when Josh Allen looks to go deep.

Allen has already thrown four interceptions this season and his namesake - Jacksonville Jaguars pass rusher Josh Allen - will try ensure that the Bills signal caller is hurried in his decision making, which could lead to some wayward pass attempts.

Bills vs Jaguars Team News

The Buffalo Bills reported that cornerback Christian Benford and tight end Dawson Knox were limited in practice on Thursday with shoulder and quad injuries respectively.

Long term absentee Von Miller returned to practice this week following his ACL injury and was also listed as limited.

The eight time pro-bowler will make the trip to London and could be active on Sunday.

The Jacksonville Jaguars listed wide receiver Zay Jones, cornerback Christian Braswell, safety Antonio Johnson, wide receiver Jamal Agnew, off-ball linebacker Dawuane Smoot and defensive lineman Folorunso Fatukasi as limited on Thursday.

Wide receiver Parker Washington and linebacker Devin Lloyd did not practice.

However, star pass rusher Josh Allen, who continues to nurse a shoulder issue, was a full participant and offensive lineman Cam Robinson is eligible to return from suspension.

Jaguars vs Bills Bet Builder Tips

  • Steffon Diggs - Anytime Touchdown Scorer
  • Terrel Bernard - Player Tackles And Assists Over 7.5
  • Josh Allen (Jacksonville Jaguars) - Player To Record A Sack
  • Buffalo Bills - Spread -5.5

At the time of writing, the above Bet Builder can be backed at 9/1 on bet365.

Steffon Diggs put on a show against the Miami Dolphins last week, hauling in six catches for 120 yards and three touchdowns.

The Bills star pass catcher will be keen to display his talents to a new audience this weekend and he could easily find his way into the endzone once again.

While Matt Milano is widely considered to be one of the leagues finest linebackers, it’s actually second year linebacker Terrel Bernard who leads the Bills in tackles through four weeks.

Bernard also has two sacks, two tackles for loss, two pass defences and two interceptions and is seemingly developing into a do-it-all linebacker, much like his aforementioned teammate.

He could easily lead the Bills in tackles once again.

Jacksonville pass rusher Josh Allen has notched a hat-trick of sacks twice already this season and he will again lead the Jaguars in their attempts to disrupt the passer.

Allen was a full participant in practice this week in spite of his shoulder injury, which clearly didn’t affect him last Sunday.

The 2019 first round pick can give his namesake something to think about.

As mentioned previously, the Buffalo Bills are performing at the peak of their powers right now and Jacksonville are struggling to put up significant points.

I would therefore support the Bills to cover the spread.
