The Notorious Conor McGregor returns to the octagon for the first time in nearly three years when he takes on Michael Chandler in UFC 303
The infamous Conor McGregor has been out of action in the UFC for almost three years now after he broke his leg fighting Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
However, his long-awaited return has finally been made official as it was announced at UFC 300 this weekend that the Irishman will go to battle with American Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in Las Vegas.
This fight has been long in the making as Mcgregor and Chandler went head-to-head coaching their own team of MMA stars competing on TV show ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ with the intention of fighting each other at the conclusion of the show.
However, due to prior engagements, McGregor had been forced to delay this.
Nevertheless, the UFC’s first simultaneous two-weight champion will finally return as he looks to make up for his loss to Poirier three years ago.
