Kylian Mbappe, the best player in the world, joined Real Madrid just two days later on June 3rd, making them the clear favorite to repeat in the Champions League. Barring any major setbacks, their only true competition is Manchester City, and while anything can happen, it's nearly impossible to match their talent level.

Despite all of that, Real Madrid suffered a 1-0 loss to LOSC Lille in their last Champions League match three weeks ago on October 2nd, and will be desperately looking to get back in the win column on Tuesday night. They can't afford to fall behind in the standings as we near the halfway point of the group stages, so a win is critical as they hope to exert dominance over Dortmund once again.

Real Madrid comes into this matchup in the middle of the pack in the Champions League standings through two matchdays. However, they still have the second-best odds to win the Champions League at +350, which are currently on a dip after they lost their last match. Only Man City is ahead at +310, but that will change as soon as Real Madrid gets back on track.

Outside of the Champions League, Real Madrid has been nearly flawless. They are 7-0-3 in La Liga, sitting just under Barcelona at the top of the table. This way, they can win 2-1, 3-1, and 3-0 and we hit in all scenarios. It is a much better setup than hoping they win by two goals, or worrying about Dortmund keeping up for the over 3.5 total. Real Madrid will get back on track by reminding Dortmund and the rest of the world that they were Champions for a reason.
