The National Championship game tips-off on Monday night with a matchup between 1-seed Florida and 1-seed Houston in San Antonio, Texas. Neither Cooper Flagg or Johni Broome won their Final Four matchup, despite being the two favorites to win the John Wooden Award this season.

The Gators pulled away from Auburn late in the second half of their Final Four matchup. Florida swept the Tigers 2-0 this season and have guard Walter Clayton Jr. to thank for his huge production throughout the NCAA Tournament.

The Cougars' miraculous comeback against Duke in their Final Four matchup was a testament to the relentless defense Houston plays under head coach Kelvin Sampson. The Blue Devils' top-ranked offense didn't make a shot in the final 10 minutes of the game, while Cooper Flagg missed the go-ahead jumper in the closing seconds of the game. LJ. EACH TEAM TO SCORE 75+ POINTS IN GAME (+350)

Defense will be on full display in the National Championship tonight. At least, this is what most fans and bettors expect to happen. Houston's offense can get hot from three-point range, feasting on second-chance opportunities and offensive rebounds.

Florida's offense has scored 75 or more points in 18 consecutive games. The Gators primary scoring threat is Clayton, while Thomas Haugh has elevated his production in the paint for Florida during the tournament. Alijah Martin and Will Richard are solid backcourt options behind Clayton if he gets blanketed by Houston.

At +350, it's worth placing half a unit on this special for each team to score 75+ points in the National Championship.

FLORIDA TO RECORD 10+ MADE THREES IN GAME (+185)

Florida has made 10 or more three pointers in two of five games played during March Madness. They've fallen below this number in back-to-back games against Texas Tech (9) and Auburn (8) but with Houston's talented interior in the paint, perimeter shooting will be emphasized by the Gators' offense.

At +185 odds, it's worth placing another half-unit wager on Florida to record 10+ threes in the National Championship game against Houston.

Houston's been one of the best three-point shooting teams in the country this season. The Cougars are known for their defense but three-point shots are where LJ. Cryer, Emanuel Sharp, and Milos Uzan thrive.

Houston made 10 three pointers against Duke and 10 three pointers against SIUE in the Round of 64. Florida's bigs will challenge the Cougars in the paint with their size, so mid-range and three-point shots will remain a priority for the Cougars' sharpshooters.

At +350, let's sprinkle a quarter unit on Houston to hit 11 threes for the first time in their NCAA Tournament run during tonight's National Championship game against Florida.

EACH TEAM TO RECORD 30+ POINTS IN EACH HALF (+130)

I like this prop a lot. Florida has a tougher assignment against Houston's defense but their offense is built to score in a variety of ways. The Gators have scored 30+ points in each half during all five of their NCAA Tournament games played.

The Cougars have scored 30+ points in each half in just two out of five NCAA Tournament games played. They could've easily hit this number in the Round of 64 blowout over SIUE but took their foot off the gas. They fell just shy of 30 points against Purdue in the 1st half of the Sweet 16, hit this mark against Tennessee, and finished with 28 first half points against Duke after stalling out for the majority of that half.

I expect a fast-paced, high-scoring affair in the National Championship tonight, contrary to popular perception. Let's bet a unit on this prop and back both teams to score at least 30 points in each half at +130 odds.

LJ CRYER 10+ 1ST HALF POINTS (+125)

LJ Cryer is the primary scorer for Houston's offense and he'll be in a position to rain three-pointers and mid-range jumpers during the National Championship game. He's scored 15-30 points in four of five NCAA Tournament games played, only going cold against Purdue in the Sweet 16.

Let's bet on Houston's best scoring option to record 10 or more points in the 1st half against Florida on Monday night at +125 odds.

WALTER CLAYTON 15+ 1ST HALF POINTS (+350)

We're going to go even harder on Walter Clayton's 1st half scoring prop and back the talented point guard to record 15-plus points against Houston in the opening frame. Clayton has been the player of the NCAA Tournament thus far, scoring 30 or more points in back-to-back games for the Gators.

The Cougars are going to prioritize shutting Clayton down but he's at his best shooting contested shots. Clayton is also very good at drawing fouls and finishing at the rim, so let's bet half a unit on him to start hot against Houston with 15 or more points in the 1st half during the National Championship tonight.

THOMAS HAUGH 10+ 1ST HALF POINTS (+650)

Thomas Haugh has been an unsung hero for Florida, especially during their late rally against Texas Tech in the Elite 8. Haugh is a versatile forward who has a great perimeter shot, draining four clutch three-pointers against the Red Raiders.

Haugh has scored between 12-20 points in four of five NCAA Tournament games during Florida's run. He's attempted nine or more shots in three of these matchups, while attempting six or more free throws in four of five NCAA Tournament games.

It's a bit of a longshot at +650 odds but I like Haugh's role compared to Alex Condon, who played poorly on offense against Auburn in the Final Four. Let's sprinkle a quarter unit on Haugh to benefit from the attention Clayton may receive from Houston and bet on the 6-9 forward to score 10 or more points in the 1st half at +650 odds.

EMANUEL SHARP 10+ 1ST HALF POINTS (+200)

Emanuel Sharp's late three-point shot against Duke was among the most clutch in the NCAA Tournament this year. Sharp's the second leading scorer behind Cryer for the Cougars, averaging 12.8 points per game.

At +200 odds, we only need Sharp to finish the 1st half with 10 points to cash this prop. He's recorded 12-17 points in four straight NCAA Tournament games, despite shooting under 40 percent against Duke, Purdue, and SIUE.

He'll have plenty of confidence following his late-game heroics against Duke. Sharp is also good at getting to the foul line, attempting six-seven free throws in two of Houston's past three games.

Let's bet half a unit to win a full unit of profit on Sharp to score 10+ points in the 1st half against Florida during tonight's National Championship game.
