Thunder vs. Rockets Prediction
OKC has been one of the most impressive teams this season, both in terms of wins and against-the-spread success. Their combination of efficient offense and lockdown defense has made them a nightmare matchup for most opponents. Led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and a deep supporting cast, they’ve shown consistency on both ends and rarely let inferior teams hang around.
Houston has talent and is scrappy at home, but their youth and inconsistency — especially late in games — have cost them against tougher opponents. While the Rockets can keep it close in stretches, OKC’s perimeter defense and fast-paced offense will likely prove to be too much over four quarters.
With the Thunder playing at such a high level and covering at a strong rate all season, it’s hard to go against them here — even on the road. Expect OKC to control the pace, lock in defensively, and pull away in the second half.
