Michael Mmoh vs. John Isner Prediction
We are on Day 4 of the US Open and we have Michael Mmoh vs. John Isner. Isner has just announced he will be retiring after the US Open, so I am sure he will give it his all today but I am not sure that will be enough.
Isner has lost 12 out of the last 17 matches and Father Time has caught up to him. He did just convincingly beat Diaz Acosta in the first round but that was a perfect draw coupled with a complete mismatch.
Mmoh, on the other hand, just beat Karen Khachanov in 3 straight sets. Khachanov was a Semi-Finalist here last year. Khachanov was clearly not in form though, playing his last match on clay almost 4 months ago. Mmoh has really great weapons and has improved his game tremendously. He is a spectacular baseliner and should be able to make Isner work hard for every point today. This line is basically a pick 'em and I’ll gladly take the better in-form player today.
